The Coming Month

The Flower Lady's birthday, our anniversary, and Christmas all come in the same month. It does make it easy to remember those important dates, and certainly concentrates the shopping mind. It can lead to occurences of Gift Performance Anxiety, however. You all remember the roses I got the FL on her birthday the year before last.(I know it's rude not to link, but I don't want to have to read up on that permalink thingie.) A year later, it had descended to lottery tickets (I won't tell you how much we won). This year the cover on my covert birthday operation was blown early; obviously, I'm under a little pressure here.

PS Actually, the FL is very easy to please. She's a sweetheart!!
